All you need is some oranges, a bit of sugar, and a few other simple ingredients. In just 5 minutes, you’ll have a delicious and refreshing dessert that will have you craving it every day. For the cake:

  • 1 egg
  • 100g (3.5 oz) sugar
  • 8g (0.3 oz) vanilla sugar
  • 100ml (3.4 fl oz) oil
  • Grated zest of an orange
  • 150ml (5.1 fl oz) orange juice
  • 230g (8.1 oz) all-purpose flour
  • 15g (0.5 oz) baking powder

For the topping:

  • Shredded coconut

For the orange cream:

  • 1 egg
  • 70g (2.5 oz) sugar
  • 150ml (5.1 fl oz) orange juice
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch


  1. Add oil, grated orange zest, and orange juice to a bowl, mix well.
  2. In another bowl, beat the egg with sugar and vanilla sugar until creamy.
  3. Gradually incorporate the flour into the egg mixture, stirring until smooth.
  4. Add the orange juice mixture into the bowl.
  5. Gently fold in the baking powder.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180°C (356°F).
  7. Pour the batter into greased mini cake molds and bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden and baked through.
  8. Allow to cool before removing from the molds.
  9. Meanwhile, prepare the orange cream: In a saucepan over low heat, mix the egg with sugar, orange juice, and cornstarch, stirring continuously until thickened and creamy. Remove from heat and let it cool.
  10. Place the orange cream in the middle of the mini cakes and sprinkle with shredded coconut.
  11. Decorate with orange slices.
  12. Refrigerate until chilled.
  13. Serve and enjoy!
