Ingredients:
Batter:
- 2 eggs
- 3.5 oz (100 grams) of sugar
- A pinch of salt
- 3.4 fl oz (100 ml) of milk
- 1.7 fl oz (50 ml) of vegetable oil
- 6 oz (170 grams) of flour
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- 1.8 oz (50 grams) of ground almonds
Topping:
- 1.8 oz (50 grams) of sugar
- 0.35 oz (10 grams) of vanilla sugar
- 0.5 oz (15 grams) of cornstarch
- 8.4 fl oz (250 ml) of milk
Decoration:
- 1.8 oz (50 grams) of sliced almonds
- Powdered sugar
Instructions:
- For the topping, start by taking a saucepan and adding 1 egg, 1.8 oz (50 grams) of sugar, 0.35 oz (10 grams) of vanilla sugar, 0.5 oz (15 grams) of cornstarch, and 8.4 fl oz (250 ml) of milk. Stir well and cook over medium heat, always stirring until thickened.
- Transfer to a glass container and let it cool at room temperature.
- In another bowl, add 2 eggs, 3.5 oz (100 grams) of sugar, and a pinch of salt. Beat until creamy (approximately 3-4 minutes).
- Add 3.4 fl oz (100 ml) of milk, 1.7 fl oz (50 ml) of vegetable oil, 6 oz (170 grams) of flour, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, and 1.8 oz (50 grams) of ground almonds to the mixture. Stir well until you have a homogeneous batter.
- Preheat the oven to 340°F (170°C). Grease a 10.5 x 7 inch (27 x 18 cm) baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and sprinkle 1.8 oz (50 grams) of sliced almonds on top of the batter.
- Spread the topping over the batter, making any designs you like.
