Ingredients:
- 5.07 fl oz (150ml) of warm milk
- 1.23 oz (35g) of sugar
- 0.18 oz (5g) of instant yeast
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of cooking oil
- 11.46 oz (325g) of all-purpose flour
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/2 teaspoon of baking powder
- 0.53 oz (15g) of butter
- Cooking oil for frying
- Nutella (can be substituted with chocolate spread or another filling of your choice)
- Granulated sugar for dusting
Instructions:
- In a small bowl, mix the warm milk and sugar. Add the instant yeast, mix well, and set aside for a few minutes until the mixture becomes frothy.
- Add the egg and cooking oil to the yeast mixture. Stir well.
- Gradually add the all-purpose flour, stirring continuously to avoid lumps. Add the salt and baking powder.
- Once the dough starts to form, transfer it to a floured surface. Add the butter and knead the dough until it is smooth and uniform.
- Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let it rest for 45 minutes or until the dough doubles in size.
