Ingredients:
Cake:
- 3 eggs
- 6 tablespoons sugar (about 75g)
- 8g vanilla sugar
- 100ml sunflower oil
- 100ml milk
- 10 tablespoons all-purpose flour (about 125g)
- 12g baking powder
- Lemon zest
Cream:
- 600ml milk
- 200ml vanilla-flavored sweetened whipped cream
- 1 egg yolk
- 4 tablespoons sugar (about 50g)
- 5 tablespoons cornstarch
- 30g butter
- 50g white chocolate (to taste)
For decorating:
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Half a lemon
Instructions:
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
- In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until smooth.
- Add the oil, milk, and lemon zest to the egg and sugar mixture, stirring well.
- Gradually add the flour and baking powder, mixing until no lumps remain.
- Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until golden and firm to the touch. Allow to cool, then cut the cake in half.
