  • 3 eggs
  • 6 tablespoons sugar (about 75g)
  • 8g vanilla sugar
  • 100ml sunflower oil
  • 100ml milk
  • 10 tablespoons all-purpose flour (about 125g)
  • 12g baking powder
  • Lemon zest


  • 600ml milk
  • 200ml vanilla-flavored sweetened whipped cream
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 4 tablespoons sugar (about 50g)
  • 5 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 30g butter
  • 50g white chocolate (to taste)

For decorating:

  • 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • Half a lemon


  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (392°F).
  2. In a bowl, beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until smooth.
  3. Add the oil, milk, and lemon zest to the egg and sugar mixture, stirring well.
  4. Gradually add the flour and baking powder, mixing until no lumps remain.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, or until golden and firm to the touch. Allow to cool, then cut the cake in half.
  6. While the cake is cooling, prepare the cream. In a saucepan, combine the milk, whipped cream, egg yolk, sugar, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the cream thickens.
  7. Remove from heat and add the butter and white chocolate, stirring until completely melted and incorporated into the cream.
  8. Spread the cream over one of the cooled cake layers and place the other layer on top. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours.
  9. Before serving, mix the powdered sugar with the juice of half a lemon and drizzle over the cake. Decorate with lemon slices and more powdered sugar.
