Ingredients:
- 8.8 oz (250 grams) all-purpose flour
- 0.7 oz (20 grams) cornstarch
- 1.8 oz (50 grams) powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder
- 1.8 oz (50 grams) salted butter
- 3.5 oz (100 grams) cold water
- Bananas (cut)
- Oil for frying
Instructions:
- In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla powder.
- Add the butter and mix until you get a crumbly dough.
- Gradually add the cold water and gently knead until a smooth dough forms. Do not knead for too long to avoid making the dough tough.
- Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
- After the dough has rested, roll it out with a rolling pin until thin.
- Cut the dough into 20 pieces and wrap each piece of banana with a strip of dough, sealing the edges well.
- Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the banana rolls until golden brown, occasionally turning to ensure even cooking.
