  • 1.8 oz (50 grams) powdered sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla powder
  • 1.8 oz (50 grams) salted butter
  • 3.5 oz (100 grams) cold water
  • Bananas (cut)
  • Oil for frying

Instructions:

  1. In a large bowl, mix the all-purpose flour, cornstarch, powdered sugar, salt, and vanilla powder.
  2. Add the butter and mix until you get a crumbly dough.
  3. Gradually add the cold water and gently knead until a smooth dough forms. Do not knead for too long to avoid making the dough tough.
  4. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. After the dough has rested, roll it out with a rolling pin until thin.
  6. Cut the dough into 20 pieces and wrap each piece of banana with a strip of dough, sealing the edges well.
  7. Heat the oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  8. Fry the banana rolls until golden brown, occasionally turning to ensure even cooking.
  9. Remove the rolls from the skillet and drain on paper towels.
  10. Serve hot and enjoy the crispy, sweet, and savory combination.
