Ingredients:
- 6.8 oz (200 ml) boiling water
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 14.8 oz (420 g) all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 14.1 oz (400 g) ground beef
- 1 onion
- 1 tomato
- Cilantro, green onions, parsley
- Salt, black pepper, paprika to taste
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix boiling water with salt.
- Add flour and vegetable oil to the bowl and knead until you have a soft dough.
- Let the dough rest for 20 minutes.
- For the filling, mix together the ground beef, chopped onion, and tomato (seeds removed).
- Add cilantro, green onions, parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika to the ground filling mixture and mix well.
- Divide the dough into 15 portions and roll each portion into medium thickness.
- Place a tablespoon of the filling in the center of each dough portion.
- Fold the dough over to form a half-circle.
- Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Fry the pastries on both sides until golden brown.
- Serve hot.
