A simple combination that transforms into delicious pastries in just 10 minutes on the skillet! This recipe was a gift from my dear grandma, who always knew how to make the best recipes. Learn to make these juicy and flavorful pastries with me!

Ingredients:

  • 6.8 oz (200 ml) boiling water
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 14.8 oz (420 g) all-purpose flour
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 14.1 oz (400 g) ground beef
  • 1 onion
  • 1 tomato
  • Cilantro, green onions, parsley
  • Salt, black pepper, paprika to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix boiling water with salt.
  2. Add flour and vegetable oil to the bowl and knead until you have a soft dough.
  3. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes.
  4. For the filling, mix together the ground beef, chopped onion, and tomato (seeds removed).
  5. Add cilantro, green onions, parsley, salt, black pepper, and paprika to the ground filling mixture and mix well.
  6. Divide the dough into 15 portions and roll each portion into medium thickness.
  7. Place a tablespoon of the filling in the center of each dough portion.
  8. Fold the dough over to form a half-circle.
  9. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  10. Fry the pastries on both sides until golden brown.
  11. Serve hot.
