Carrot Chocolate Marble Cake

  • 4 eggs
  • 1.5 cups granulated sugar
  • 1 cup vegetable oil
  • 300g grated carrots
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

  • Half a cup of 50% cocoa chocolate (or chocolate drink powder)
  • Half a small carton of heavy cream (100g)
  • 150g dark chocolate


  1. In a blender, blend eggs, sugar, oil, and grated carrots for 2 minutes until you get a smooth mixture.
  2. Gradually add sifted flour, mixing gently.
  3. Add baking powder and mix again.
  4. Divide the batter in half. In one part, add the 50% cocoa chocolate (or chocolate drink powder).
  5. In a greased and floured pan, alternate spoonfuls of carrot and chocolate batters.
  6. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (356 degrees Fahrenheit) for 30-35 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. For the ganache topping, melt the dark chocolate with heavy cream in the microwave or using a double boiler.
  8. Decorate the cake with the chocolate ganache.
