  • 3 eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar (10.5 oz)
  • 1 cup milk (240 ml)
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil (120 ml)
  • 1/2 cup fresh lemon juice (120 ml)
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour (8.8 oz)
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder

For the topping:

  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)
  • Juice of 2 lemons


  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Grease a baking pan with margarine and flour, then set aside.
  2. In a blender, combine eggs, sugar, milk, vegetable oil, and lemon juice. Blend for 3 minutes until smooth and homogeneous.
  3. Transfer the mixture to a bowl and gradually add the sifted all-purpose flour, stirring well.
  4. Add the baking powder and mix until fully incorporated.
  5. Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake in the preheated oven for about 40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  6. While the cake is baking, prepare the topping: In a bowl, mix sweetened condensed milk with lemon juice until thick and smooth.
  7. Once baked, remove the cake from the pan and spread the topping evenly over the top.
  8. Finish by sprinkling lemon zest on top of the frosting.
  9. Serve and enjoy!

Note: Adjust the topping according to sweetness and acidity preference by adding more or less lemon juice as desired.
