How to Make Crispy Banana Chips in 10 Minutes

  • 3 green bananas
  • 1 teaspoon (0.07 oz / 2g) turmeric powder (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon (0.07 oz / 2g) salt
  • 4 tablespoons (1.13 oz / 32g) water


  1. Peel the green bananas and slice them thinly.
  2. In a bowl, mix turmeric powder (if using), salt, and water.
  3. Heat oil in a small pan (7 inches) over low heat.
  4. Dip each banana slice into the turmeric-water mixture, then place into the heated oil for frying.
  5. Fry the slices until golden and crispy.
  6. Remove the fried bananas from the pan and place on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  7. Serve and enjoy the crispy banana chips!

Oven Method:

  1. Preheat the oven to 340°F (170°C).
  2. Peel the green bananas and slice them thinly.
