Ingredients:
- 1 cup (5.3 oz) of oats
- 2/3 cup (5 oz) of milk
- 2 eggs
- 2 ripe bananas
- 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup (0.7 oz) of unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1 teaspoon of baking powder
- A pinch of salt
- 1/4 cup (1 oz) of walnuts
- 1/4 cup (1.4 oz) of sugar-free dark chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon (0.7 oz) of hot milk
- Vegetable oil for greasing
Instructions:
- In a bowl, mix the oats with the milk and let it soak for 10 minutes.
- In a blender, add the bananas and blend until liquid.
- Add the oat and milk mixture to the blended bananas, along with the eggs and vanilla extract, mixing well.
- Add the cocoa powder, baking powder, and a pinch of salt to the batter, mixing again.
- Grease a baking pan with vegetable oil and pour the batter into the pan, leveling it out.
- Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F for 30-35 minutes.
- Meanwhile, toast the walnuts in a skillet and chop them with a knife.
- Melt the dark chocolate in a double boiler or in the microwave, add the hot milk, and mix well.
- After baking, remove the cake from the oven and let it cool.
