Ingredients:

  • 3 potatoes, diced small (about 300 grams or 10.5 ounces)
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • 300 grams (10.5 ounces) ground pork
  • 20 grams (0.7 ounces) tomato sauce
  • 5 large eggs
  • A bunch of chopped dill
  • 100 grams (3.5 ounces) hard mozzarella cheese, grated
  • Some vegetable oil
  • Salt, freshly ground black pepper, meat seasoning to taste

Instructions:

  1. In a large skillet, heat some vegetable oil. Add the diced potatoes and fry until golden brown, seasoning with salt and black pepper to taste. Set aside when done.
  2. Remove the potatoes from the skillet (or use another skillet), heat a little more vegetable oil. Add the chopped onion and garlic, sauté until golden.
  3. Add the ground pork to the skillet, cooking until completely browned. Season with salt, black pepper, and other meat seasonings to taste.
  4. Stir in the tomato sauce into the meat mixture, mixing well to incorporate the flavors.
  5. Place the potato cubes back into the skillet and mix until they are coated with the seasonings.
  6. Grease a baking dish with oil and pour this mixture into the dish.
  7. In a bowl, beat the eggs until combined and season with salt to taste.
  8. Sprinkle the chopped dill over the mixture and gently stir to distribute the eggs evenly.
  9. Cook for a few minutes until the eggs start to set around the edges.
  10. Pour this mixture over the pork in the baking dish.
  11. Sprinkle the grated mozzarella cheese over the surface of the mixture in the baking dish.
  12. Preheat the oven and bake for about 15-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown.
