This cake is so delicious that I make it almost every day

I present to you an irresistible recipe that will conquer your palate: a cake so delicious that it’s practically impossible to resist. Follow the step-by-step instructions to prepare this dessert that will become one of your favorites.


  • 4 eggs
  • Confectioners’ sugar (0.6 oz)
  • A pinch of salt
  • 3/5 cup (120 g) granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup (100 g) melted butter
  • 1 lemon (Sicilian)
  • 3 cups (750 g) cream cheese
  • 3/5 cup (150 ml) milk
  • 1/2 cup (60 g) sifted cornstarch
  • 1 pomegranate


  1. Separate the egg whites from the yolks.
  2. Add a pinch of salt and the confectioners’ sugar to the egg whites and beat until stiff peaks form.
  3. In another bowl, add 3/5 cup (120 g) granulated sugar to the egg yolks and beat until creamy.
  4. Mix in 1/2 cup (100 g) melted butter and the zest of the lemon, being careful to only grate the yellow part.
  5. Squeeze the juice of half a lemon into this mixture.
  6. Also, mix 3 cups (750 g) cream cheese with 3/5 cup (150 ml) milk and add 1/2 cup (60 g) sifted cornstarch.
  7. Gently fold the beaten egg whites into the yolk mixture.
  8. Prepare the baking pan by greasing it with parchment paper and dusting with flour.
  9. Pour the entire batter into the prepared pan.
  10. Cut the pomegranate, remove the white seeds, and drain the juice.
  11. Place the seeds on top of the batter.
  12. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake for about 1 hour.
  13. Turn off the oven and leave the cake inside with the door open for 30 minutes.
  14. Allow to cool before cutting and serving.
