Turn One Gelatin Packet into 3 Liters of Ice Cream

  • 1 packet gelatin (flavor of your choice)
  • 250 ml hot water (8.45 fl oz or 1 cup)
  • 250 ml cold water (8.45 fl oz or 1 cup)
  • 1 box heavy cream (or whipping cream) (1 pint or 16 fl oz)
  • 1 can sweetened condensed milk (14 oz)


  1. Dissolve the gelatin in 250 ml (1 cup) of hot water. Stir well and set aside.
  2. Add 250 ml (1 cup) of cold water to the dissolved gelatin and stir again.
  3. In a blender, combine the prepared gelatin, heavy cream, and sweetened condensed milk.
  4. Blend for about 10 to 15 minutes until doubled in volume.
  5. Pour the mixture into containers and freeze for approximately 3 hours.
  6. Remove from the freezer and beat again with a mixer until doubled in volume.
  7. Return to the freezer and let it set for another 5 hours or until the ice cream is completely frozen.
