WITH CORNMEAL AND TAPIOCA STARCH, MAKE THIS DELICIOUS BISCUIT

Ingredients:

  • 3 tablespoons of margarine or butter
  • 1/2 cup (100g) of sugar
  • 1 whole egg
  • 1 cup (200ml) of cornmeal
  • 1 cup (200ml) of tapioca starch
  • 1 tablespoon of baking powder

Instructions:

  1. In a bowl, mix the margarine, sugar, and egg until smooth and well combined.
  2. Gradually add the cornmeal and tapioca starch, stirring until the dough becomes firm enough to mold with your hands.
  3. Add the baking powder and mix thoroughly.
  4. If the dough is too soft, add more tapioca starch gradually until reaching the desired consistency where the dough no longer sticks to your hands.
  5. Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
